But difficult to undermine
It is a great force to reckon
Demanding tremendous attention.
I know it is ugly, dark and gloomy
Telling you that everything is doomy
Confusion is crawling slowly
Its heavy weight is creeping deeply.
Naturally, we would fight
Just to hold on to the waning light
Scary to lose that hope
That we just recently reveled in its scope
We have been here before
Don’t you still get it after all this time
It‘s time to use up all that last ray of light
Welcome the new one already within sight
A new and brighter light is dawning
Higher energy and vitality is offering
Illumination is soon ensuing
Be in the position of receiving.
Look at the path you must tread on
The straight road is clearer than before
Yes, A lot of work to carry on
One work at a time, so be strong.
Start with prioritization
Write the to-do list for your direction
Allocate reasonable time accordingly
Remember to do the accounting completely.
Fold up your sleeves get down to your list
Stay on it for just 5 minutes, I insist.
The rest are for your next day’s stint
Are you done, then start the sprint.
Already you’ve forgotten
The discouragement den
If it comes back again
Thank the light, your loyal friend.
It is time to welcome the higher form,
Brighter than you have let it before
Much stronger and comforting you will see
The right amount for your greater need.
Next time, when it feels like waning again
Use up the energy you feel like remains
Then, look up! Brace yourself once more
Larger and brighter light, about to come forth
When all have been said and done
See thru the discouragement and beyond
Trust and give thanks to the Wonderful Creator
In His Great Wisdom, all of these and for so much more.
We may not agree to have feelings of distraught
To part with a knowledge that has been our comfort
It is not really parting, in the first place
It is revealing, restoring and reuniting with once innate.
Do not use only your sight
Hear, feel, sense with foresight
Such wonderful greatness await
A little more stretch for us to trade.
So, welcome the discomfort and its ruse
Sort out carefully and not burst your fuse
It is never meant to tear or confuse
Although it feels like that, don’t be fooled.
Try to remember, you just have to wait
Yes, of course, you are entitled to feel dismay
As the dark encroaches, just be thankful for the light
Welcome the brighter form that is about to strike.
If you would like to wallow
For some time in the gloom
I guess you must, is that retribution?
Then go ahead, have it unto completion.
Most awaited redemption
Tis straight ahead on the next junction
Start accepting the limitation
Desist from any wrongful action.
Do not insist any misdeed
You thought for your protection, no, indeed.
You are actually courting life termination
Stop this downward trend and destruction.
Would you want darkness to continue?
No one can desire and no one would
Many have dared, and so they claim.
Maybe they can, for a time, they have
But for those who continue to boast
They are tormented and endlessly bored.
Try as they might to pretend not so
Refusing to be humbled is not the way to go.
Listen! Be wary of them,
They will attach to your light
In order to suck your energy and life.
Let them dry up in their own twisted mind.
If you must know their ending dear
Do not push it, it is horrible to see.
Yes, there are times, it is not let known
Seemingly a big mystery, on its own.
There is one reason I can share with you
Just for the goodness sake our deeds we do.
A very strong light that brings life to all
To you and to the world, a sight to behold
So, in the face of discouragement,
There is a cause for merriment
Welcome the brighter light, about to flare
Be ready to see, new heights to dare!
